Everest Base Camp Trek (EBC)

In an ideal world, most of us would love to stand on the top of the world, 8,848m high on Mt Everest.Realistically, most of us will not be able to achieve this! But if you have good fitness and strong determination, you can make it to Everest Base Camp!And between you and me, the views of Everest from Kalapatthar are the most spectacular you can get without having to spend weeks trudging up to the summit!

Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay may have been the people to put the Khumbu on the map, but since then, countless mountaineers and trekkers have enjoyed the beauty of the likes of Mt. Everest, Ama Dablam, Goyko Lakes, and much more.  Let’s ensure this area stays as it is for future trekkers and Nepali people.

Trip Itinerary

Day 01:  Arrival at Kathmandu International Airport (1300mtrs). Our officer will meet and transfer you to your hotel.

Day 02:  Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing Tour or a free day for trek preparation.

Day 03: Kathmandu – Lukla (2800mtrs) – Phakding (2610mtrs), 35 min flight, 3-4 hrs walk.

Day 04: Phakding - Namche Bazaar (3440mtrs), 5-6 hrs walk.

Day 05: Namche Bazaar: Rest, acclimatization and exploration day.

Day 06: Namche Bazaar – Tengboche (3870mtrs), 5-6 hrs walk.

Day 07: Tengboche – Dingboche (4360mtrs), 5-6 hrs walk.

Day 08: Dingboche: Rest, acclimatization and exploration day.

Day 09: Dingboche – Lobuche (4940mtrs), 4-5 hrs walk.

Day 10: Lobuche – Gorak Shep (5160mtrs) – EBC (5360mtrs),Gorak Shep, 7-8 hrs walk.

Day 11: Gorak Shep – Kala Patthar (5550mtrs) – Pheriche (4280mtrs), 7-8 hrs walk.

Day 12: Pheriche – Phortse (3810mtrs), 4-5 hrs walk.

Day 13: Phortse – Monjo (2840mtrs), 5-6 hrs walk.

Day 14: Monjo – Lukla (2800mtrs), 5-6 hrs walk.

Day 15: Lukla – Kathmandu (1300mtrs), 35 min flight.

Day 16: Final Departure Transfer to International Airport for your flight connection to your onward destination.

Trip Inclusion

NB: Cloud and turbulent weather along the mountain ranges is common and may lead to internal mountain flight delays or cancellations. We suggest you add at least one extra day after your trek before flying out of Nepal.
